The F520 employs a newly developed power saving mini-neck CRT which requires only 80 watts for normal operation to make it one of the most energy efficient 17" CRT monitors on the market. With Eizo's PowerManager, power consumption is reduced to less than 3 watts when the F520 is on but not in use. The F520 also includes an off timer function which allows the user to set the monitor to enter a secondary power off state (less than 3 watts) at a predetermined time.
