Hansol 710 AWith its flat square screen, the 710 A provides consistently well proportioned images throughout the screen area. It provides sharp, crisp, flicker-free images, even at high resolutions. The anti-static, anti-reflection screen treatment refracts light away from the user while maintaining optimal image clarity. Newest Review: ... Hansol are a company that produce a lot of the monitors that are supplied with other manufacturers machines as a default monitor... ...the main one being Novatech - that's not bad. Alas, PC World have also been known...ahem, NOT good for a self-respecting manufacturer...? However, this should not put you off...just because you are getting a relatively cheap monitor does not mean in this case that the monitor will be substandard. The 710A is their bog standard 17` (unless you agree with Mr Blair that `bog-standard` is unfair, in which case it`s a `promising` 17`... :-) ) I`m writing this on it right now. The text is clear, well defined - and the ... Read the complete review

The Hansol 710A offers great value for money. The display is a rock steady 85hz at 1024 x 768 (the best resolotion for a 17" monitor). It's very easy to set-up, with the on screen display being very intuitive and the picture is quite good. Colours are clear and I've found no sign of any ghosting. It isn't the world's best monitor but it's not the worst either. If you are on a tight budget, and want a decent 17" monitor, put this on your short list. ... Read the complete review

From the point-of-view of price/performance nearly unbeatable. Under 200 Euro 17“-monitors are hard to find. Fulfills the swedish radiation norm TCO 99. Manual and installation simple and understandable. Technical specifications: ---------------------------- Max. resolution: 1280 dots x 1024 lines Max. frequency: 110 MHz ---------------------------- Disadvantage: No driver disk or CD-ROM. But there is a standard Hansol driver in Windows 98, which means the installation works without and the newest driver is fast downloadable from the net. But this little problem doesn“t harm the fun at all. For the ... Read the complete review

I bought a hansol 710A about 6 months ago after my old 14-inch monitor decided it didn’t want to work anymore. I wasn’t sure if I was going to sell my old system and buy a new one with a monitor, so I decided to buy the cheapest new 17 inch one I could, which at the time was the 710A It cost £136 from dabs, which is pretty good for a 17-inch monitor, From day one I have never been really happy with the display it can look very grainy somedays, and others it can be ok (and no it’s not my eyes) even just switching it off and on again sometimes fixes the problem., I think this is a fairly minor, complaint, so I have never felt the ...
