Advantages: Great Product, Great Price, Even Better Service
Disadvantages: It did blow up
I was going to buy a Hansol 710P but when I saw the flat screen version for just £25 more I decided to go for it. The 710D is a joy to use with a greater spec and a great picture to back it up. For the exact specs follow the link above to the web site (which is also very good). I got the monitor as part of a system I was having built by my local back street specialist. The PC is primarily a games PC so therefore I needed a monitor that could support high refresh rates at high resolutions which the 710D can. I received the monitor and it was great until it blew up 5 days later. So I looked on the web site for the warranty details. I had not looked in to the warranty much before buying (which I should have) but it was great. A next day exchange promised or a free upgrade, cool. I phoned the number and was told it should be the next day but later got another call saying it was only in stock for 2 day shipping. No upgrade was offered but I did not push it as I would have only been offered a 19" not flat screen which I did not want. 2 days later it arrived. And 3 months on no probs. I always say that no company will have a 100% reliability but the good companies sort the problems out well and fast, and Hansol get top marks here. And I have not even mentioned that these are meant to be budget monitors yet either.
