I can honestly say that a few weeks ago I knew absolutely nothing about monitors. If they came on and worked I didn’t really worry about them in the slightest. Until mine started acting up that is. It’s a little old and therefore dated for the applications I am now asking it to run. I finally accepted that it must be consigned to the scrapheap and replaced with a more capable piece of kit. The first decision was easy. I need (want really) a bigger screen, so I first waded through the opinions here on DooYoo on 17” monitors. It didn’t make my choice any easier as everyone rated each of the monitors highly. I set a budget of £200 ... Read the complete review

This monitor is very good. It supports res's to 1600 x 1200, most 17" monitors I looked at only go to 1280 x 1024 at a rubbish refresh rate ( 70 Hz). This monitor supports 1280 x 1024 at 85 Hz and boy can you see the difference. It has 0.26 dot pitch, most at this price are only at 0.28. It has quite a small back so it will fit on to most desk tops with ease.It also has a 16" viewable area most only 15.7" . The only thing wrong with it is that it has quite a curved screen, if you want a flatter screen you can pay £100 and get a philips or sony. This monitor i great value and would recommend it to anyone who is building their own computer and wants a ... Read the complete review

This Monitor is a tidy offering from Hansol and offers a low dot pitch 0.26 at a reasonable price. When buying my monitor I took a few things into consideration A - Cost - always important B - Styling - Another important factor C - Picture display - I dont require great detail but working with PCs alot means I need a clear, flicker free display that isnt going to make me tired and hurt my eyes too quickly. The highest dot pitch I had previous to this monitor was the 0.27 dot pitch of my philips 107s. This was a good clear picture and I decided from then on that I wouldnt accept any less in terms of quality. 4 - The screen has to be around 17" ... Read the complete review

I bought this monitor almost a year ago. I decided upon it because it was a very good price for 17” monitor at the time, the specification sounded impressive and I had a recommendation from a friend. Since then it has performed excellently. It can support very high resolutions for a 17” monitor 1600x1200, is of a good build quality and has an easy to use and understand On Screen Display. The only very minor gripe I’d have is that it uses a captive cable, so if the connector gets damaged the whole monitor has to be sent away or replaced. The picture quality is very good, straight lines are and the colours are nice and vibrant. It is not a ... Read the complete review

The Hansol monitors have always been great... but in my mind, the 710P is not so great! Standing next to it when it went all red and green, then yellow and then fizzed was not my idea of settling down to work on a Monday moring. Yes, it had died. One week - that's all it takes - I urge you to not buy this monitor! Scary, isn't it! Well, I'm just glad the vacuum didn't blow and explode everywhere. On a more positive note, I would like to congractulate Hansol on the 710A monitor, a superb choice. ;-)Happy looking! ... Read the complete review
