Advantages: Cheap, good quality, works nicely

Disadvantages: Captive cable

I bought this monitor almost a year ago. I decided upon it because it was a very good price for 17” monitor at the time, the specification sounded impressive and I had a recommendation from a friend.
Since then it has performed excellently. It can support very high resolutions for a 17” monitor 1600x1200, is of a good build quality and has an easy to use and understand On Screen Display. The only very minor gripe I’d have is that it uses a captive cable, so if the connector gets damaged the whole monitor has to be sent away or replaced.
The picture quality is very good, straight lines are and the colours are nice and vibrant. It is not a Trinitron, but still manages a pretty flat screen.
Highly recommended as it can compete with far more expensive monitors, for a fraction of the price.
