This display provides an expert image quality because of its fine flat square tube and fine dot pitch, as well as ergonomic refresh rates that guarantee a stable image. The image area is expandable up to full scan (no more black borders around the image). HP Ultra VGA 1280 fully enhances the HP Vectra video solutions that offer integrated 1024x768 and 1280x1024 resolutions as standard. The ergonomic 1024x768 mode is the recommended resolution, if used with GUI (graphical user interface) applications. If required for the use of information-intensive applications, the display fully accepts the 1280x1024 resolutions (at 60 hertz). Used at high refresh rates, these resolutions provide a stable, flicker-free image. Advanced and expert PC-users will be pleased with the full set of additional ergonomic features. Besides the crystal-clear image due to a fine stripe pitch and to the anti-glare flat screen, the display provides front-accessible on-screen controls that allow the user to easily adapt image size, positioning, geometry, and color. It is one of the first 17-inch displays to be introduced with image rotation correction. The display comes with two different preset color temperature settings.
