The P75 is built around the improved Trinitron CRT, which features a reduced depth and a flatter screen for even less glare and distortion. The 16-inch viewable area screen features a .25mm AG pitch with an anti-reflective, anti-static coating to yield high-end crisp, bright contrasted images. This model supports a 1280x1024 high resolution, with flicker-free 85Hz operation at 1024x768. Several features make the P75 easy to use and a pleasure to look at. Compaq designed the P75's shape to minimize its desktop footprint and to prevent cable clutter. The onscreen display uses an illustrated approach for easy and precise picture adjustments, including color level, color temperature, tilt, zoom, and geometry controls. For design and publishing professionals, the P75 also includes Colorific software to precisely match onscreen color to the output of a color printer. The P75 uses a standard 15-pin video input cable, and is PC and Macintosh compatible for configuration flexibility.
