I had got myself burned badly with my first 17" monitor (I won't begin to tell you what happened - maybe another time). I decided I'd do it right this time. I had always considered Iiyama to be high end monitors, a little out of my league, but as I was gathering information, I found that the Vison Master Pro 410 was more and more the monitor for me. I took the plunge and was not disappointed. As soon as I got it out of the box, I knew this was a good piece of kit. It felt sturdy, it had dual inputs (D-SUB and BNC), and the screen was so flat, it actually looked concave comapred to other monitors I had seen before. I hooked it up ... Read the complete review

The image quality of this monitor is simply stunning. It beats Sony’s top of the range 19” monitor for crying out loud! It has a visible range of 15.9” which is lower than most 17” monitors, if not by much. But what it does have is the ability to run in a resolution of 1280x1024 at a flicker free resolution of 88hz, a feat a lot of 19” monitors can’t manage. This means that I can fit lots of information on the screen without it becoming a nasty, flickery, blurred mess. It’s a Diamondtron screen, which is Mitsubishis attempt at copying Sony Trinitron technology and they did a good job of it (A better one than Sony in fact) and ... Read the complete review

My boss recommended this monitor for my new system (I say new - it is a year old now!). I work in IT and I am also studying for a degree - so in my books I needed a monitor that was flicker free, sharper than Blackadder's wit and pleasant on the eyes. It is the 17" flat-screen model. It looks nice - nothing designer - but it is a bit of a heavy swine to move about. It comes with all the necessary bit and bobs and the set-up is very easy :) Basically - it is great! It is even better than my monitor at work and that is 19" in size. The flat screen keeps the glare off and the colours are crystal - everything is always sharp and with a ... Read the complete review

I rate this monitor as the best monitor for the 17-inch class. I have been using this monitor in my work and I find it to be really good and non straining to the eyes when I am working on the computer for long hours. The colour is rich and deep. It is also non-glaring and in fact almost radiation free. You can definitely get good graphics with this fantastic monitor. It produces good and clear pictures especially if you are doing some photo editing or webpage design where you need a good monitor to give you a good output. It is also useful for people who tends to work on long hours on the computer, it will not strain their eyes as much as the normal non-flat ... Read the complete review

The iiyama vm pro 410 is a good and reasonably priced monitor with a great clear and flat display. However there are a couple of annoying little things you should perhaps know about. Firstly the gauze lines that help hold the screen flat are a quite visable, especially on a white background. Though these are present on all such monitors they seem more visable here. Secondly the monitor has a habit of losing it's screen position when you switch between screen resolutions (some games do this automatically) meaning that you have to fiddle around resetting it a lot. If you are prepared to put up with these minor inconveniences you are getting ... Read the complete review
