What is happening is that they fail to light up the screen after computert is booted up...but if left for more than half an hour connected...there is a good chance that the will work. I have 2 of the above type monitors..... and both were bought new about 3 years ago. The first stopped working just when it was out of the guarantee and the second is doing the same thing at 3 years old. What is happening is that they fail to light up the screen after computert is booted up...but if left for more than half an hour connected...there is a good chance that the will work. Iiyama....this name has been around for many years as one of the leaders in screen technology, it is renowned for the very high quality of it's picture. Since I started in computers back in 1987 I have always tried to own a good monitor because you only have one set of eyes. I've had Taxan's, Sony's, Viewsonic's, and finally Iiyama's. The latest one being the Vision Master Pro 452, it's a 19" Aperture Grille Monitor. The picture is extremely sharp and defined, this is due to the Mitsubishi Daimondtron Tube and Iiyama's excellent electronics. If you have never seen a 19inch monitor before then can I just say you are missing out.Before I bought this monitor I had an old 15inch model and the difference between the two is astounding. For me now anything smaller is quite unbearable. As well as being big, this monitor also has a very good image quality with loads of options to tweak the picture if you're not happy with it. It's possible to get the image borders lined up perfectly with the sides of the monitor which is something not all monitors can do.
