Advantages: Great image stability, sharpness and vivid colours.
Disadvantages: Text can be fuzzy.
The Vision Master Pro 510 is a hefty 22-inch screen that certainly should take up all your desk space, although it's worth noting that the viewable area is the same 20 inches as most 21-inch monitors. Once you've got it out of the box (a significant achievement in itself with a monitor of this size, because it weights a monstrous 33kg) and connected to your PC, you can start to take advantage of its capabilities. Like the maximum resolution of 2,048 x 1,536, for example, which is displayed at a refresh rate of 80Hz. As with most monitors, though, I found the top resolution a little uncomfortable to read and I'm happier at 1,800 x 1,440 or 1,600 x 1,280. Until I tried playing a few first-person shooter games, anyway - viewing them on a big screen is such an immersive experience that it's easy to end up feeling a little dizzy. If you tend to suffer from motion sickness, you need to be careful. When trying out more conventional applications, I was extremely happy with image stability, sharpness and vivid colours, and there's no distortion thanks to the Diamondtron flat-screen display. Text is a different matter. Small characters tend to be fuzzy, a problem I failed to resolve despite tweaking. Larger fonts are fine, but this is still a monitor where you might want to try before you buy.
