Once you've taken your eyes off the design, however, the Flatron 774FT becomes nothing more than average. The 0.24mm pitch of the flat tube screen is sharp enough to be viewed from fairly oblique angles, but the maximum resolution of 1280x1024 pixels is low in comparison to many other similar models. Like its predecessor, the 774FT has some of the better onscreen display controls to be found on any monitor, with responsive, easy-to-use buttons offering access to various configuration settings. These include brightness and contrast, separate red, green and blue color saturation controls. |
