LG produce mid-range, value monitors. Personally, I bought the LG SW775E because it was the cheapest 17" CRT monitor for sale that I could find when I was buying. However, my experiences have led me to believe that I should have waited until my budget would accommodate more performance. The SW775E provides a good resolution and frequency for the average user, however, users out for extreme performance will find that of the 775E rather limiting.
