The face-off of monitor's... I am an advent shopped when it comes to an item I want. I generally poke around stores and use the internet as an extensive platform to find the right product that will suit me. This time however I was caught out. I could not for the life of me find a cheapish monitor that was 19" and had some of the best features. Playing games and having a high end machine I wanted to compliment it with a nice big monitor. My 14" was just to small. The internet gave me a lot of special offers, mostly from the US but I wasn't too keen to have it shipped all the way to Ireland. The next best thing. Find as many computer shops you can and start phoning. To my surprise the monitors were all very higly priced. Two weeks past and I walked into an electronics shop just to poke around and saw the 19" monitor special. I checked the stats and was amazed at the prize. I took out the money and bought it there and then. This has to be the best buy yet. This monitor was just good and practical and had all the features one would expect. Gaming on this monitor is excellent. When I work with graphics you can't go wrong. The crispness is well worth it. The user controls on screen is as simple as you'll ever get. No wonder this monitor is still in the PC World top ten and also the PC Magazine's Editor's Choice. If you can find this monitor on special or it seems to have a good price then buy it. You won't regret it. Simply brilliant stuff. There are 19" monitors out there for under £200 ... I got a Hansol one for less than that 6 months or so ago! |
