When was this? In Australia, Pansonic only appear to offer two monitors and they're both LCDs.

The aperture-grille format results in poor resolution for text.

This quote, (with spelling and grammatical errors corrected) appears on Panasonic's Australian web site:

"Aperture-Grille CRTs (Such as Panasonic's PF90) use an array of stretched wires to create images using phosphor lines. They have a stripe pitch instead of a dot pitch. Aperture-Grille designs are characterized by tension wire lines across the screen image. Whilst beneficial to brightness, Aperture-Grille CRTs may exhibit poor horizontal definition which may make them less suited to displaying text."

Performance and quality of screen resolution will be dependant on your operating system and your PC's video card/graphics processor. My experience with the PF90 is limited by being stuck with inferior hardware at work: a Dell Optiplex GX520 running a Celeron D processor and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver
