Advantages: Clear and contrast picture
Disadvantages: Nontraditional controls, not many features, high price
This monitor has a short tube (reduced depth with large square of a screen). The picture is saturated and contrast (tube Black Matrix from Philips), without noticeable geometric distortions. Clearness and readership of the text good, moire is imperceptible. It has decent frequency characteristics and broad passband. There are built-in speakers, microphone and plug for connection of the headphones. Despite of the stickers recalling to the user of a non-traditionally located button "power" (above) and nontypicality of tunings, the management is well thought over and conveniently. Besides, the monitor is looked, as ball (because a tube with a shadow mask is rather round). I think that the price is high for this modest possibilities. The set-up of the monitor is carried out with the help of well thought two-level menu, and brightness, visibility and loudness of speakers are adjusted by separate buttons. For choice of the necessary option of the menu is used the pseudo-analog regulator recalling the handle of set-up of the old TV set. The truth, only outwardly. In the menu, apart from of standard tunings of sizes and position of an image, indemnification's of geometric distortions and moire (and with separate adjustment - on horizontal and on vertical), are present also setting of color temperature (two standard and two user), mode Zoom and option of turn on / off of a "green" mode. The screen monitor provides connection of an external microphone (apart from built-in) and headphones. As a whole screen monitor has made a quite good impression, but it rather high price was showed to me obviously overstated. Philips 107 is rather decent monitor. The home users will like compactness of this device.
