I bought my Samsung SyncMaster 550s in summer of 1999 and it is great. It has clear picture after 10 years of faithful use and I am using it on my spare computer since 2007. I bought my current LCD monitor in 2007 and am using it on my new 2009 Dell. The 1999 Samsung is on my old computer. It may be a little bit heavy and old but it is very faithful and worth the money. I was sceptical of buying a Samsung back then because Samsung just started to make monitors but I am happy I did buy it because it turned out to be the best monitor I have ever owned. I currently am using a 2007 Compaq W17q and it's okay but I have had a few problems with it but it's okay now. The only reason I bought it was because it was $199.00 and had built in speakers.

I forget how much I paid for the Samsung SyncMaster 550s but it was a reasonable price and has lasted me 10 PROBLEM FREE YEARS! I am going to keep it as long as I can!

Summary: I would reccomend it to anyone!
