I have purchased the SM750S about 6 months ago and I can only have good words towards it. The principle reason I went for this monitor was the very low price in comparison with it's overall standings. I have also found some good and very good classifications regarding this model in various benchmarks. The main strong points of this model are: First of all the 0.24dp(!) which is unique at this price. And one more thing, it seems at many places you'll find the dp anywhere between 0.26-0.28. My first computer came with a 15" monitor, when I got a new computer, I gave my 'old' one to my Sisters. I also gave them the monitor which gave me the perfect opportunity to buy a new one. What a big difference this new 17 inch monitor has made to my eyes! It's so much easier to see and read text on he monitor now. I have never been a fan of PC World and I must admit that I only went there because it was Sunday and there wasn't another shop open that stocked monitors. However I'm glad I did go in. These Samsung 750s monitors had previously been on offer at £149 which is very cheap but they had reduced them again to £139. That is an excellent price for a 17 inch monitor. I have now been using one of these for about a month, and see no reason to regret the purchase. My original thought when replacing my NEC 15” monitor was to wait for flat-screen LCD monitors to come down in price, and whilst this has happened to a certain extent, it hasn’t to the extent that would entice me to part with my money yet.
