Premium Review Samsung Syncmaster 750S: One of the best products the money can buy! (282 words)

I have purchased the SM750S about 6 months ago and I can only have good words towards it. The principle reason I went for this monitor was the very low price in comparison with it's overall standings. I have also found some good and very good classifications regarding this model in various benchmarks. The main strong points of this model are: First of all the 0.24dp(!) which is unique at this price. And one more thing, it seems at many places you'll find the dp anywhere between 0.26-0.28. Don't get fooled, the prospect is in my hand and as far as i know the distance remains stable in time;) The 17" ...  Read the complete review

My first computer came with a 15" monitor, when I got a new computer, I gave my 'old' one to my Sisters. I also gave them the monitor which gave me the perfect opportunity to buy a new one. Having looked everywhere trying to buy a Hansol 710 which I couldn't get (from a high street store). I went into PCWorld.. I shudder when mentioning that place, as I dislike it intensely. Having said that they do offer a wide range of products - usually vastly overpriced though... back on track to the review: Specs of the monitor ******************** 17"inch screen (16" Viewable) 0.27 Dot pitch A nonglare ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Samsung Syncmaster 750S: Great price for a 17 inch monitor (306 words)

What a big difference this new 17 inch monitor has made to my eyes! It's so much easier to see and read text on he monitor now. I have never been a fan of PC World and I must admit that I only went there because it was Sunday and there wasn't another shop open that stocked monitors. However I'm glad I did go in. These Samsung 750s monitors had previously been on offer at £149 which is very cheap but they had reduced them again to £139. That is an excellent price for a 17 inch monitor. The monitor doesn't weight a lot which pleased me (15 kgs.) The monitor was also simple to install and all it needed was the floppy disc included. You ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review 17" @ £149. Get one! (451 words)

I have now been using one of these for about a month, and see no reason to regret the purchase. My original thought when replacing my NEC 15” monitor was to wait for flat-screen LCD monitors to come down in price, and whilst this has happened to a certain extent, it hasn’t to the extent that would entice me to part with my money yet. The latter are usually 15.1” monitors, which, because of the way they are measured have very little less viewable screen than a 17” CRT model, which has about 1” of its diagonal measurement masked off by plastic framework. So, a 17” CRT it had to be, if it’s going to seem any larger than ...  Read the complete review
