Sony in my eyes have always been one of the best visuals/sound companys around for years there products are reliable and of good quality and I have had no quibbles or hesitations in purchasing one of there products. OK I will get on with the op now. Sony HMD A220 FD 17" Monitor is another new product which i have recently purchased. It is more than a standard monitor its good looking with a silver finish to the front. The screen is A flat Trinitron to say the least its that flat the screen seems to curve in rather than out. This is not a bad thing its soothing to the eyes you notice the diffrence immediatly the monitor is turned on and you bootup ... Well what can I say about this monitor? I have stumbled on a real beauty here. I bought this monitor about 8 months ago and I am incredibly pleased with it. I had been looking for a new monitor for a while and when I saw this one I fell for it. The tube is flat and when I say flat its flat and has a maximum resolution of 1600x1200. However I wouldnt recommend it at this as I found 1024x768 great at 100hz refresh rate. The control Functions are done by a single toggle button which I found very easy to use. There are all the usual features to adjust like picture width and height and loads more extras that you won't believe. ... Read the complete review

Sony EPD E200 Multiscan This Sony 15"monitor gives a superb bright, well-focused image with little visible distortion or convergence. The control "joystick"is excellent once you get used to it which takes a little time. Currently I operate mine at a resolution of 1152 X 864 at 78 Hz w ith no problems whatsoever. The technical back up from Sony is superb as is their customer service. All this allied to the very reasonable price make this monitor a superb buy. Don' t hesitate buy one. ... Ah, it seems that in all my reviews I have to have a littlke word at ther beginning about the title. Well, I'm referring to the sharpness of the picture quality, but then again Sharp is a company that makes monitors. A pun, get it? Well, I'm glad that's cleared up. Sorry you folks out there that knew all along...! Well, where to I start? The Sony Multiscan CPD-E200 is a fantastic monitor, especially for the cash. Ok, it's a little steep, but then again it's Sony! And with the Sony name you can be assured that you'll get pure quality. What makes this monitor stand out from the crowd I hear you ask! Well, this little beauty has a ... Read the complete review

The Sony E200 is a FD tritron monitor meaning the screen is "completely" flat so u get no fish bowl effects of yester years monitors. It's designed is simple and sleek but nothing to go ranting and raving about. It does boast a new method of controlling the OSD. Its called a mouse thing. Its basically a little joystick at the botton right of the screen which you can control in 4 directions and it can be pressed down to get in to the menus. Its sounds complicated to use but when you get your hand on this baby its flows like a river. Its very easy and simple to use, no more fluffing around with buttons. It is back with plenty of OSD options for you ... Read the complete review
