Ah, it seems that in all my reviews I have to have a littlke word at ther beginning about the title. Well, I'm referring to the sharpness of the picture quality, but then again Sharp is a company that makes monitors. A pun, get it? Well, I'm glad that's cleared up. Sorry you folks out there that knew all along...!

Well, where to I start? The Sony Multiscan CPD-E200 is a fantastic monitor, especially for the cash. Ok, it's a little steep, but then again it's Sony! And with the Sony name you can be assured that you'll get pure quality.

What makes this monitor stand out from the crowd I hear you ask! Well, this little beauty has a 100% flat screen, so you don't get those nasty little "lens" like effects around the edges. That's what Sony says anyway, and I can vouch for them that it's the truth. My Sony Multiscan CPD-E200 was served me well for a few months now, and I've had no problems with it.

I'm not so sure about what the product claims, but my Sony Multiscan CPD-E200 is one seriuos piece of kit. I also have one in the office, and I can tell you that we can't tell the difference between the colours we see on screen to the ones we see on professionally printed paper. So, this sort of suggests that the colours are pretty accurate!

The sharpness of the images on-screen are also shocking. Unlike other monitors that seem to blu things a bit more, the Sony shows it in a way that I didn't know existed! It'll bring a new dimension to your images!

For some reason or another I've noticed that my eyes don't seem to be so sore after using the monitor for several hours, I don't know if it's got a built in filter (probably because it's capable of high refresh rates) but it's very easy on the eyes. Makes a change!

So, if you're looking for a new monitor, perhaps for professional DTP or other uses and you've got £200, go for it!
It's simple one of the best monitors you'll find, if not THE best. Sony have done a good job here...
