Advantages: Perfectly flat screen. dual dsub inputs

Disadvantages: OSD is tricky to control

This is one of the best 17" monitors that I have had the pleasure of casting my eyes over. The display is sharp and the Trinitron tube gives a perfectly flat screen that is pitch black when turned off.

The screen is so flat that when you first see this monitor you almost think it is concave, however you soon get used to it and start thinking that non flatscreen monitors look very strange indeed..

The dual dsub inputs on the back of the monitor are a godsend if you have two machines and flicking between them is a simple case of pushing a switch on the front.

The menu system for controlling the On Screen Display (OSD) can be tricky to use with the novel multidirectional button but it is functional and you rarely need to use it.

At non standard refresh rates the monitor has a tendency to forget alignment when it has been turned off, however it is quite happy to be run at 1280x1024 @ 85Hz.

The screen seams to pickup greese quite easily and I am sure that I don't touch it (too much ;) This can be noticible, far more noticible than on my old monitor.

Overall this is a good buy. I would recomment it to anyone.
