Disadvantages: Shimmering effect.
Many people regard Sony monitors as the name to go for. The performance of this monitor backs this up. The quality is excellent right up to the high resolutions and the colour vibrancy is very good. One shortfalling is that there is a subtle shimmering effect at 85hz although this is reduced at 75hz. The overall effect of this shimmering is that it is slightly uncomfortable on the eye. However, it is still an excellent monitor.
