Sony CPD-G200 ... is one of the best 17" monitors that I have had the pleasure of casting my eyes over. The display is sharp and the Trinitron tube gives a perfectly flat screen that is pitch black when turned off. The screen is so flat that when you first see this monitor you almost think it is concave, however you soon get used to it and start thinking that non flatscreen monitors look very strange indeed.. The dual dsub inputs on the back of the monitor are a godsend if you have two machines and flicking between them is a simple case of pushing a switch on the front. Sony CPD-G400 ... This is by far and away the best monitor I have used. I started thinking about getting a new monitor after I got a 17? Trinitron FD at the office, which is similar to G400, but smaller. I decided to look for a 19" for my own home use. There are several manufacturers that make flat CRTs for computer monitors, but the major two players are Sony Trinitron FD and Mitsubishi Diamondtron NF. This Sony G400 is what I have finally ended up with after going through several Mitsubishi and Sony monitors. Sony CPD-E200 ... what can I say about this monitor? I have stumbled on a real beauty here. I bought this monitor about 8 months ago and I am incredibly pleased with it. I had been looking for a new monitor for a while and when I saw this one I fell for it. The tube is flat and when I say flat its flat and has a maximum resolution of 1600x1200. However I wouldnt recommend it at this as I found 1024x768 great at 100hz refresh rate. The control Functions are done by a single toggle button which I found very easy to use.
