	Viewsonic PT775 ... have had my Viewsonic PT775 since I bought it new, in April of 1997. Yes, you read that right (or left, if you re a southpaw.) :-) It has been utterly dependable, with clear, bright and well defined images and rarely a need to adjust settings. However, changing settings is quite straightforward and easy to do. I read in a review that the controls are small and am frankly puzzled by that comment. If I were wearing heavily insulated, thick mitts that might be the case, but not for these hands of mine. While LCD monitors now abound, and relatively cheaply now, I prefer viewing the image generated by a good CRT and its colour rendition, particularly for graphics and ph... 	Viewsonic GS790 ... 19-inch (18 inches viewable) monitor uses SuperClear technology for superior focus, vivid and realistic colors, and a sharp, crisp image.Though lacking features such as a USB port or BNC connectors (which few people need) the overall quality of this monitor is very good. The display, where it counts the most is excellent, and Viewsonic can be counted on to sell a reliable product. Other good contenders in this price range are the Samsung Syncmaster 950P (a little cheaper and still very good) and the Hitachi SuperScan Elite 751 (best display in this price range but a little more expensive). 	Viewsonic GS790 ... doesn't have a fancy case, USB ports, or innovative controls. Instead, the ViewSonic G790 simply offers outstanding performance at a down-to-earth price. It garnered the top performance numbers in this 19-inch monitor roundup, tying with only the Hitachi SuperScan Elite 751. Terrific Text, Great Color In our performance tests, the G790 came out near the top in practically every category. Very sharp focus makes the monitor ideal for text viewing, although we did find that the color reproduction was slightly off compared to the lower-rated NEC MultiSync E950.
