... excellent CRT TV. Have been using is at least 3 days a week for 3 to 5 hours a day. The cover design has little or no flaws. No protruding parts that can break off. No grooves that are hard to reach when cleaning the cover. The image has remained sharp and with deformations. The most important thing is how does my television look, this particular one I would say is very stylish and elegant, it’s a stylish silver colour. Toshiba 21S23 ... the picture quality is good, the TV picture is too large for the screen! Important text in credits and subtitles are often cropped on the left and right-hand size. Even worst, when Sky TV broadcasts its financial reports, the picture turns into wide-screen format, but the Toshiba does not adjust, and you loose even more of the picture. Unforunately there is no menu option to correct this, and Toshiba technical support have confirmed that there is no way to correct this. Sharp 21HS50 ... my TV set from Comet for £111 (saving £49) as it was a display model and was awaiting a remote control. (They'll send the remote within a week.) This replaces my 24inch Panasonic which was damaged while moving houses. TUNING: Set it up using the buttons on the front - MANUAL TUNING of the channels was quite straight forward. PICTURE: The PICTURE is excellent and much better than other televisions around. I think Japanese teles are much superior to their European counterparts. (I might be a bit biased here, having owned a Sharp, a Sony and 2 Panasonic TVs but I pretty much believe in that.) SOUND: Was a bit disappointed to see NO HEADPHONE SOCKET. I'...
