JVC AV-28CT1:
... the widescreen television age. It also meant that I could put the old 21? television in my bedroom for late night TV watching! So after doing some considerable research on the internet and trawling round a number of my local electrical retailers, I came across this JVC television in Comet. The selling price was £349 as it was a discontinued model. Although this wasn?t exactly a bargain basement price, I thought p... Read the full review: A widescreen experience! by richard_richard |

JVC AV-28WFT1 ... was on offer for this price range. I already decided about the kind of features I was after: Plenty of Scart sockets on the back to allow connection of other equipment (e.g. DVD Player, Video etc.) A decent sized screen Clear picture Easy to use re mote control. With this in mind I had a look at the JVC model. This television set comes with a 28” display – a monster compared to my previous 21” television. It also comes with a flat screen. The screen is designed to reduce the amount of glare you may experience on the television – things such as ligh... Read the full review: JVC the one for me! by Flibble |

JVC AV-24WT2 ... how little time I actually spend watching T.V. I suppose the purchase of a JVC AV-24WT2EK was an extravagance. ( Even though I wangled a hefty discount, due to spotting some minor damage to the outer casing). Nor am I entirely sure, I will ever get used, to having something that would be right at home on the bridge of Captain Kirk’s Enterprise, standing in the corner of my living room. However that said. I must admit to being very pleased with the AV-24WT2EK. Which is currently hooked up to a Sharp PC651 Mini Component System (another op in the making) and a Sharp 4 head/Nicam/Stereo VCR. Which in turn means if I chose I am able to watch TV, or a vi... Read the full review: Wide - eyed! by leviathan |

JVC AV-28WFR1 ... so I guess thats just a matter of taste. It comes with its own stand that sits flush with the television and has two glass shelves. I really love our new television. It has a crystal clear picture and the sound is near perfect. Although the picture settings can be annoying, you do find the right one in the end. We paid £500 for our one (I think the RRP is £650) to be quite honest, Im not sure what you are paying for when you go upto the £1000 mark. JVC has a good reputation for being reliable so hopefully we shall enjoying near perfect viewing for many years to come! ... Read the full review: I could watch it all day!! by flossy |
