Panasonic TX-36PF10 ... an electrical product has the word 'Panasonic' somewhere on it's body, you can guarantee that it's going to be good. Okay, so they're not always mind blowing, but with a company like this you cannot go far wrong. I feel that 36" is the optimum size for a widescreen TV. You can get 40" Rear Projection sets from companies like Toshiba for not much more, but the picture qualiy of any RP set pales in comparison to a CRT of the same price. If you really must have that bigger screen, get an LCD projector for about the same money, but even then you have to put up with blacks that look brown, and washed out skin tones. Panasonic TX-29AD2 ... is the 2nd panasonic tv i have bought,the first lasted 10 yrs.My new one has nicam stereo,but doesn't have surround as he already had that.The tv has the speakers built in over the top and bottom,which means that it is quite narrow and good for small spaces,well as small a space as a 28 inch tv can fit in !The picture quality is excellent,and the features are what you'd expcet,the price however was why we bought it.while other makes were £400 plus,ours was £200,and we are well pleased with it,it has performed just as well as our previous panasonic,hope it lasts as well too. ... Panasonic TX-21AD2 ... first thing you notice after setting up this TV is the novel security menu which asks you for your name and address, so that you can have your TV returned if it is stolen. The picture quality is also very good for a reletively cheap (inexpensive) TV and the NICAM stereo sound is also good and surprisingly loud with good bass. I have worked in the electrical retail trade previously and found this manufacturer to be very reliable and that was one of the major considerations when buying this set.
