Sony KD-28DX40:
... old television was on its last legs so we decided to splash out on a brand new set. We opted for Sony for its reliable name but didn't have a clue which model to choose. Internet research revealed we would have to go digital. There is confusion after the collapse of ITV's digital subsrciption channels but one thing is for sure - the Government plans to switch off the nation's existing analogue serv... Sony KV-27FV15 ... I start I actually have the 28" version of this. I used to work in electrical retail and was absolutely taken aback by the Sony Wega range of TV's. They were the smartest, most stylish TV's in store by a mile. They have a graphite colour case, flat widescreens and sturdy cabinets with glass doors. They basically look the business. They also had a price ticket to match. Fast forward a couple of years and I have a little windfall (read student bursary!) at the same time as my own TV decided it was going to niggle a bit - it was switching itself off at random occasions. Cue my husband and I go looking for a new TV. Having Sky Digital we de... Read the full review: The business!!! by pandora peroxide |

Sony KV-28FX65 ... wise man once said "If you had to choose one supplier for all your entertainment electronics, you couldn't go far wrong with Sony". I agree wholeheartedly. I've never gone wrong with buying Sony. Their kit is, almost without fail, well-made, well-designed, aesthetically pleasing and feature packed. So how does this telly measure up compared to all those other mid-sized Widescreen TVs? FIRST IMPRESSIONS "My God that's a big box!" SECOND IMPRESSIONS "How the hell am I going to go get that up the stairs?" It took a fair amount of brute force and ignorance to get this monster into my upstairs living room. Brute for... Sony KV-32FX60 ... 24 months ago i was in the market for a new TV set to replace my 14" portable for use with my new DVD player and home cinema amp (Toshiba 210E dvd and sony V777ES home cinema amp) Looking around locally I found a store selling this television for £1000 though it can now be had for £700. Picture : Faultless, the 32" screen recreates colours especially fleshtones very well. Plus the usual digital options and 100hz refresh rate make the picture on this set stunning. The option for using RGB scart from your DVD player provides the best picture, for connecting a DVD player. Sound: definatly above average for a tv set, speaker and small built in sub de...
