Thomson 28VK24:
... own a Thomson 28VK25US widescreen TV (sorry, couldn't work out how to add a new product). I'm currently experiencing picture distortions when playing DVDs. What happens is when I play a DVD containing a scene involving rapid flashes of light e.g. explosions, lightning, etc, the picture distorts and rolls for a second but then returns back to normal. This even happens in super-slow motion! This is very an... Read the full review: Picture distortion by andynet |

Thomson 32WR25 ... Thompson compares very favourably in performance with Panosonic, Phillips and Sony all of which are nor expensive. Picture quality is in my opinion better as well. I took quite some time copmparing and contrasting for my own purchase and Thompson won the job. So far I have had no problems in reliablity, the only real problem I can come up with is the arty styled remote which is actually a bit bulky and unattractive, though the light up in the dark feature is quite neat. ... Thomson 32WF45 ... MY TV HAS GONE BACK, SEE BELOW * The delivery date finally came. After weeks of decided which TV to splash out on, I went for a Thomson after reading numerous great reviews. 32" widescreen, Dolby Pro-Logic Sound, Virtually Flat Screen, 100hz picture scanning......*drool* My first surprise was the size AND weight. This is one hefty set!! It was so big, in fact, that they delivery bods couldn't fit the box through my front gate! Once the stand was errected, the TV was positioned and fired up. After what seemed an age setting up the sound and picture to perfection, I got down to testing it with a DVD. I was blown away! The picture is superb, crisp... Read the full review: THOMSON??? Thomson 28WR22 ... very difficult, as the current fashion is all things in silver-looks good in store but in my living room? No way, everything is dark or mahogany so a silver TV was ruled out straight away. I actually ordered a 28" Toshiba standard TV from Index for £269.99 as I know they are one of the best when it comes to quality and reliability, but the very next day I found a BLACK, (yes Black) Thomson 28" Widescreen, 12 months interest free (at northern electric) and the price was a silly £299! I had been looking for 4 weeks now and was getting a bit desperate- and the Tosh would have been okish, although I never loved the 28" standard screens as they are...
