Toshiba 32ZP18Q ... sound, which I still haven't managed to get meaty enough for my liking, except at very high volumes when if anything it becomes a bit too intense. The sub-woofer is built into the TV and you are supplied with four other speakers which thankfully have metres of cable with which to position them around the room. Again they're relatively small, unobtrusive and look good. We also bought a Toshiba video and DVD and a big bonus is that the TV remote easily controls all three. All the instructions are simple to follow and keep technical jargon to a minimum and I reckon if you?re buying this TV because it supports Dolby Digital 5.1 then you'll know what that is. I... Toshiba 32ZD98 ... have had mine now for nearly 3 years and it is still better than the vast majority of TV's out there especially as Toshiba are far more competitive on price. The version of the 32ZD98B you would buy now has been upgraded a bit since I bought mine so will be even better. Picture Quality: Cannot be beaten on a TV of this type. Pure Flat screen reduces glare & reflection. The screen is switchable from 100hz to Natural(50hz) which means the known problem on 100hz tv screens when watching footy through Sky Digital e.t.c is not a problem with this TV (although I don't see a problem on 100hz with this model) Sound Quality: Toshiba TV's are apparently... Toshiba 43PJ93 ... purchased this TV about 18 months ago from a small local retailer in my town who matched the best Internet price I could find. As well as delivering it to my door, he ran it for a week beforehand in the shop and made sure that the convergence was spot on. (This makes sure that the individual Red, Green and Blue lamps where perfectly aligned) I can honestly say that I have not had a single piece of trouble with this TV and the quality of the picture it produces is just amazing. Even though this is a 4:3 set, the 16:9 picture it produces is approximately 38 inches whereas if you purchased a similar sized widescreen RPTV you would only get a 30 inch 4:3 picture. It ...
