The reason I bought this TV was there was 200 pounds off it in my local TV shop Christmas 1999. What a bargain! This is the 28" version of the C32WD2TN 32" Widescreen Dolby Pro-Logic TV (reviewed elsewhere on this site). This set comes with a stand which you can house your video/dvd player and a satellite box. The set has 2 SCART sockets at the rear and speaker line-outs for the Hitachi rear and centre speakers and 2 stereo line out jacks. I tried to get hold of the dedicated Hitachi speakers when I first got the set (and it was a new model then) but I couldn't get them from my local Hitachi dealer nor from their UK website.
