A surprisingly inexpensive 28inch widescreen set from JVC, the AV-28WT4EKS pairs a strong line-up of facilities with a contemporary-looking silvery finish. Although it doesn’t boast a full Dolby Pro-Logic surround sound decoder, its pseudo surround mode Hyper Sound really does fill the room with sound. Another useful facility is its Eco Mode, which automatically adjusts the screen’s contrast levels to suit its environment. JVC reckons this not only reduces eye strain but also saves you a bob or two by reducing the set’s power consumption. Picture is average for a set at this price.
At christmas there I got a JVC wide screen TV and I can't believe I ever did without one. The picture is of the best quality and the sound is magnicifant. You can put the sound to different settings depending on what you are watching. Say you are watching the football you can put it on to stadium mode, I wouldn't advice this if you want to here the commentator talk because this mode echos their voice. If you watching a concert you can put it on to a different mode to..I haven't personally used this mode but I've heard that it is good. There is also the teletext fastext on this television I am a self confessed teletext addict. On teletext you can look up world and regional news plus the latest from the world of sport and entertainment and much much more.
