We bought our Xelos 3 years ago with a video. The video gave up the ghost after 14 months and the tube on the Xelos went wrong 2 months later. Lowe replaced the tube free (becuae even they agreed that it was a little premature) but we had to pay for labour (£80). It has just gone wrong again, and this time we will put it out of it's misery. My other two tellys are a 14 year old hitachi and a 13 year old Sony. Both of them still going strong.
In short, if you want a product for a year, this is the telly for you. If you want some longevity, look at another brand.
