Advantages: Great picture, extraordinary sound
Disadvantages: It is one heavy tv
Last year I was looking for a new TV and my searching led me to this one, I really liked the look of it and knew about Panasonic's great reputation of producing great TV's so when I say this in my local Cash Converters for an amazing £129.99 I just had to pick one up.
It had been very frustrating because everytime I had gone in with the money (I must have seen three other tv's the same). They had sold them but luckily they had this one in stock.
The TV's screen is 28 inches diagonally from each corner and the build quality is superb, this is another Panasonic plus point. There are sockets in the front for plugging it up to various audio and video equipment and there are two scart sockets on the back. Which is enough for most people.
The Picture of this Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) TV is very striking indeed, plugged into any half decent freeview box the colours look vibrant and everything looks good and detailed, Watch a DVD and things improve even more. I have the award winning Toshiba SD 220E that I have reviewed on dooyoo and this combination works a treat.
The sound makes the quality of the picture seem insignificant due to the way in which this TV deals with music, films and generally tv watching. After selling a pair of Acoustic Solution speakers on ebay I have been using this TV with my DVD player to play music and it does the job remarkably well with nearly everything you throw at it. The Bass performance is amazing and people new to this TV will swear that there are some extra speakers somewhere. There's also great detail here with voices having good detail even with music. You really have to have this TV loud before it starts to struggle.

As you can see from this list it is a very well kitted out Television and if you don't have a lot of room the sound will be enough instead of getting a home cinema system. I just can't wait until I get my Mission 771 speakers delivered to see how they match up with these.
With newer TV's like Plasma's still being expensive this TV may just be a great stop gap for people who want good sound and vision but don't yet have the budget to fork out for one of those new Plasma's or High Definition Television's that are upwards of £1000 for the top ones.
Overall this TV is a real find, there arent many 28' TV's that you can get for this price and certainly none in as good condition as this and this is really a quality product which enhances Panasonic#s reputation as a Audio/video behemoth. If you are looking for a posh TV but don't have a big budget see if you can find any of these for bargain prices.
Summary: Superb Panasonic
