I chose to buy this TV when I stood beside it and realised it had a pure flat screen. This means there is no picture distortion and less reflection. The picture quality is down to the fact that it has 100HZ technology, whereas normal TVs normally run at 50HZ. This means this TV scans the picture twice as many times per second, eliminating flicker, and increasing colour definition.
