Advantages: Flat screened,, 3 scarts,, good auto detect screen sizing

Disadvantages: Weighs a lot!!!,, variable performance from different sources,, slow to select av inputs manually

Having 'auditioned' this TV for almost 18 months, I can honestly say its been a constant source of visual delight!!

Saying that, if I had paid £1300 for it, well, I think I would still say the same!!
I found mine for £900, something of a bargain, all the relevant magazines at the time were raving about it, so I took the plunge and ordered via phone, without prior viewing ( never do this, screens really do come down to personal preference)..

We owned a panny 25" quintrix before this, the picture was superlative as is this one!
Not only is it perfectly clear, it has good colour seperation, no bleed of reds, and it can be viewed from a very acute angle.
It does seem very sensitive to different types of input, and I regularly have to tweak it to perform 'better', with either a new DVD or sky channel etc. Maybe it needs better quality scart cables?

It is only used for digital inputs, and although this would seem the primary choice, sometimes Tv channels do look more natural analogue. (due to no artefacting of digital signal)

The case is excellent, as Declanh mentioned, the cabinet size, considering this is a 32", is well engineered for keeping overall size down. Very unobtrusive, this is due to the small surround visible when viewing the tv, the speakers are the side surrounds, and the top and bottom are of same thickness. Many 32" tvs look small due to the illusion created by a large surround to the screen!!

Sound, although only stereo is good, bass is excellent, with no cabinet rattles at modest volumes. Used with an AV amp and full compliment of speakers though, you almost have your own in home cinema! ( ours has certainly been used as such many times)

Panasonics never seem to have many 'gadgets' on their tvs, but in my mind, if the picture is good, then isn't that what a tv is for?

The panny has now been superceded, but can be found around for very re
asonable prices, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to replace it in years to come with further panasonics.
In fact, we just bought a 24" panasonic!!(not to replace the 32 ;-)) What more do I need to say!!(24DX1)
