Advantages: cheap, easy to use and install

Disadvantages: sound not that good

I purchased this television as I needed a new one for the bedroom, as the last one fell off the cabinet and never worked again. I purchased it brand new from a local tv dealership, who has been there for 15 years. I paid at the time £71.60 for it. I have lots off old VHS tapes that I still love to watch, so purchased this instead of a DVD combo.

PICTURE
The picture is really good, I have freeview in the bedroom, and the picture quality comes up trumps. As for tuning in the tv, its very straight forward, all you need to do is click on the menu button then use the arrow buttons to select the option that you want. Pretty straight forward.

SOUND
The sound is good, but not as good as past televisions I have owned, sounds like a boxy sound, hard to explain, but just not crisp enough. But the sound is still only what you would expect from a little tv but it could be better.

FEATURES
There are quiet a few good features like Teletext which is useful for finding out news, sport results and so on. It also has a built in VHS player. This is great because you don't have to buy a separate VHS player, even though I had one in the room, it was old anyway, and this inbuilt one does the job just fine. Also it comes with a nice remote control that is easy to handle and use. The remote control uses 2 AA batteries which was supplied as well. The television can also be connected to other equipment such as satellite, computer consoles, video and also headphones.

OVERALL
Overall it is a good television but not the greatest in the world. But I do recommend for maybe in a kitchen or spare room. The only thing that let it down slightly was the sound not being crisp enough and not everyone uses VHS anymore.
