I recently purchassed this TV. On the plus side it looks great, loads of features and is very easy to set up. I'm particularly impressed by the quality of the Dolby Pro Logic surround sound.
The negative side may be nothing to do with the TV. I receive my signal via NTL cable. When I had my rather battered old small screen set the picture seemed fine. On the bigger screen of the Philips it seems a lot fuzzier, with more discernable shadows. I'm guessing that it's the quality of the signal and not the set that is at fault (strangely the picture quality for ITV is perfect).
Overall then, I great TV which is let down by a poor signal reception. I hope
