... output is great BUT Philips have a serious problem with their cabinets - they are FAR to flimsy for such a big powerful tv. I have called engineers out twice to solve the problem of the case vibrating with the sound. If I press onto the top of the cabinet the vibration stops, let go and the whole set seems to buzz. I purchased my 32pw9308 nearly a year ago and I have mixed feeling about it. The only thing that stops me hating it is the fact that while all the shops were marking it as £1000 I paid £650 online (2003). The TV looks great and the optional stand I also purchased suits the job perfectly though the stand was VERY MUCH self-assembley and was cumbersome to put together. The TV is packed with features, most of which I never use/don't even know how to use. But the ones I like most are: 1.
