Advantages: great sound, great picture

Disadvantages: complicated to set up

After 3 weeks setting this baby up, I had it all sorted, a wonderful widescreen. There are so many different plugs and switched that it could easily confuss the unexpecting person.
I now could watch the tv in full surround sound & widescreen glory.

Another problem came from when I wanted my Playstation 2 to be in Scart quality rather than arial lead quality. This was only about a week ago; I bought the special scart lead but realised that it would not go in to the tv without mucking something up. Luckily the scart top on the lead could come off and turn into three wires [it was meant to do this and it wasn't me fiddeling around]so I found that i could plug these 3 wires (left, right and video) into the front of the tv where the hatch to switch the channel manually was.
This tv is excellent, the picture is so clear if you have dvd. if you do then try 'Bugs Life' it blows your mind. the options are excellent and you can still watch proggrammes in square if they are not coded for widescreen. the surround sound is awesome for films and the controlls are easy to use.

If your looking for an excellent tv and u have a good technical knowledge of the way electrical items work and connect then buy this tv now. The picture is of excellent quality along with brilliant sound - well after my litle portable it is!!!!!!!!! It takes some getting used to, the widescreen.
The TV and stand are grey, along with a very nice remote control - which NO being a woman haven't yet worked out what they're all for yet!!!!

In summary, the FX20 is a fantastic set, though if you can afford the 100hz set then you will obviously reap the benefits (the KV28FX60). If you're looking to upgrade televisions within the forseeable future then pay close attention to the Sony - it has a reputation for excellence and will be around for a long time to come!

I just wish I could afford to spend that much money on a TV! A Bug's Life on DVD really makes any TV look decent quality aswell!
