Sony KV32DS60 Six weeks ago, my telly blew up. So i went down to comet, credit card in hand and decided to opt for a huge, flatscreen, surround sound, digital, telly. I still do not have my digital channels as apparently there has been some sort of change in the way ONdigital is sent to tv sets, and mine needs upgraded. I was not told this in the shop, but hey ho, i thought, i dont mind waiting a while for some extra channels. But i am not here to complain anyway! I want to tell you all the good things about my lovely telly, which by the way i have named johnny. The flat, 32" screen gives a fantastic picture and the 'normal' channels ... Two months ago, my television stopped working. So, I went down to Currys, and decided to opt for a huge, flatscreen, surround sound, digital, television, the latest stuff. The flat, 32" screen gives a fantastic picture and the 'normal' channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4 & C5) come through in digital and the picture quality is amazing. really amazing. I have a Playstation 2 and a Nintendo 64 both which work superbly on this television. To watch a DVD on this television is seriously like being at the cinema. With the huge flatscreen and the surround speakers behind you, it really feels like being at the cinema. You can have a choice of screen sizes and shapes ... Read the complete review

I brought that KV28DS60 in May 2000. Sony advertised it as being able to receive OnDigital broadcasts without the need for a separate box, but they did not carry out the required upgrade until November 2000! After this upgrade, the set has never functioned properly with the CAM card inserted (the CAM card is supplied by On-Digital). After two attempts to get the upgrade sorted, I have given up, and Sony has given me my money back. Overall, I was very disappointed with Sony’s customer service, as I thought that they were abrupt and unwilling to help. If it hadn’t been for the retailer, I do not think that I would have got Sony to even agree to a ... Read the complete review

I owned one of these televisions (the 32" KV-32DS60) for around 3 months, and I wasn't that impressed.. I bought the TV from a Sony dealer, after hearing very good things about them from everyone I talked to. So I bought the TV (after finding somewhere with one in stock!), and it was delivered and setup. The first thing that struck me was the uselessness of OnDigital - not really the fault of the television, but even with a brand new, very large, aerial installed, reception was poor to say the least - and I live right by Heathrow, so I'm not exactly in the middle of nowhere :-) I also found that the gun alignment (the Red gun) was ...
