Sony KV32DS60
Six weeks ago, my telly blew up. So i went down to comet, credit card in hand and decided to opt for a huge, flatscreen, surround sound, digital, telly.
I still do not have my digital channels as apparently there has been some sort of change in the way ONdigital is sent to tv sets, and mine needs upgraded. I was not told this in the shop, but hey ho, i thought, i dont mind waiting a while for some extra channels.
But i am not here to complain anyway!
I want to tell you all the good things about my lovely telly, which by the way i have named johnny.
The flat, 32" screen gives a fantastic picture and the 'normal' channels (BBC, STV, C4, C5) come through in digital and the picture quality is amazing. really amazing.
I have a playstation and a dreamcast, and my friend has a PS2, all of which are better to play on my telly than any other telly.
To watch a DVD on my telly is like being at the cinema. with the huge flatscreen and the surround speakers behind you, it really feels like being at the cinema.
You can have a choice of screen sizes and shapes - widescreen, smart (best for C5), 14:3 (dont really know what this is but it is small), and normal but wide is the best for most things.
there is a choice of sound - pro logic, hall, concert, echo, off, and more but pro logic is the best one.
The way to tape a programme is fantastic. You click on the programme in the on screen tv guide menu, and click onto record and it is done. automatically records the programme when it starts, provided you have put a blank video in...
The on screen tv guide is not bad, it is good for the time band you are in but anything more than an hour ahead doesnt work.
There is another button which you can press and it will tell you what is on the channel you are on and the starting and finishing times and sometimes, what it is about.

ONE WARNING - adverts are very loud on the surround speakers so turn th
e volume down just before the ads come on cos they really are a lot louder. not sure if its to do with digital or the speakers but either way - it is louder.

But this telly has changed my living room forever. It looks so good but it was not cheap. Although worth every penny of the £2000!!

The reason i wote so many opinions today was that i am a ciao member and i decided to use some of my ciao opinions on here so they were already written.
That could be why you thought i was firing them out so fast.
Thanks for the comments though.

I agree with kfingleton on this one I'm afraid. Try reading the advice for new members section, which should help you out some.
