We store our bikes in a bike shed and as such we like to lock them up and cover them up to ensure that they are not exposed to people just happening to glance in if the locked door is open. We don't use this cover to keep our bikes dry as they are inside but we do use this to try and deter anyone from touching our bikes if they happen to be in the bike shed at any time, so far this has worked like a dream.

I paid £8.99 for this bike cover from Argos last year and it is suitable for covering basically all sizes of bicycle and motorcycle. This price seemed reasonable enough to me and this is just £9.99 still now so still very reasonable.

This cover came within a clear plastic wallet and it was folded down nice and small. The information and usage instructions were basic and yet simple enough to understand and follow through. It is advisable to open this up and flatten it down and leave for at least a few hours if you can otherwise it might just start to fold back up again! This is really not good and so I left mine overnight and soon it was flattened out well enough to allow me to begin to use it.

This light blue tinged cover is nice and thin and clear enough for me to see through it and know at a glance that my bike is underneath it. It is waterproof and is made from PVC which allows it to be durable too. There are two tapered ends which obviously fit on the ends of your bike and these are elasticated to allow them to fit different bike sizes. There are Velcro straps at either end that allow you to pull the ends in for a tighter fit to your bike and these straps can also be fitted around your bike tyre for added protection of detachment from your bike if your bike is out in the wind, however, I don't put the straps around my tyres as like I said my bike is stored in a locked bike shed and is kept sheltered from the elements. This cover is very simple to fit and nicely made too. We have used our covers a couple of times when out and about for the afternoon and it has been protected from rain and showers and neither of us has had to cycle home with a wet seat! The only downside is having to fold it down in to a rucksack.

This bike cover is 98cm high, 185cm wide and 74cm deep and is a very reasonable size. It covers my ladies bike with ease and with a small amount of space left. This also covers my very tall husbands larger gents bike too down to near the bottom of the tyres and I feel that this represents fantastic value for money as it really is suitable for numerous sizes.

Our bikes still look almost as good now as when we first purchased them. This cover has lasted well and I also purchased my husband one not long after getting mine. The size is great and while these covers are quite thin they have definitely withstood us using them on an almost daily basis to remove and then recover our bikes. I would definitely recommend this cover and would have no hesitation buying one again should something happen to one of our current covers.
