Four days ago, my friend who is also in turf/landscaping maintenance called me up with distressing news. Quick thinking and planning this right I went to Lowes I was looking everywhere for what I wanted, sales person said to get linked chain. I know a sharp bolt cutter would go through that like a heated knife through butter. Then he directed me to the locks section of the isle and that's where I seen these. The Kryptonite Flex Cable Loop is a strained cable about a inch thick in circumference and has a thick plastic coating over the cable.

They come in 3 sizes, 4 feet, 10 feet, and 30 feet. I bought me 4 four footer and 3 thirty footers. I also had to buy ten Master Locks. Like I got money that grows on trees. So I made a decision to keep a trailer on my truck at all times and the other trailer take one wheel off and put it on blocks and what I did was use one of the 4' footers and lock the trailer to my peach tree. Using another four footer cable lock through the handles of my chainsaws and my Stihl trimming hedgers and when I finished aligning all my cable I locked them up. The loop that you put the locks through is 3 inches in diameter and easy to stretch a little in case you have a real tight fit. The strained loop is forged in a circle and each loop has a thick plastic protector on it to detour a thief hopefully.

I know nothing a full proof these days. I even put extra lock hasps on my door to slow a thief down. See lawncare equipment is really easy to heist. I heard from a another friend that his buddy went into Walmarts and was parked in the fire lane out front just to pick up a prescription and a truck pulled up next to his and the guys lifted the trailer off his truck and put it on theirs and drove off. The police just write out reports, but they tell you with West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania being just miles apart your equipment can be anywhere. Well I don't want that happening to me.

These Kryptonite Flex Cables are very easy to around your equipment, I can imagine how easy it would be to put around your bike or anything you want to lock up. As explained to me by OpenRoad as I was asking for these links. He gave me his point of view letting me know that this would slow them down and if they are smart and have a 4 inch battery operated grinder they will get in eventually. All I need is one bark from Brutus and my motion lights to come on and put two shells of buckshot in my 12 gauge and we'll see who's the quickest.

Overall assessment. This four foot flex cable is easy to work with. The lock loops are easy to put your locks in. The steel strained cable looks very durable. It is well put together and hopefully will serve it's purpose. The plastic coating also helps as a protection so the steel cable doesn't rust. Price 6.99 U.K.
