... bike up there are good rules to follow which you can look up on You Tube, they will help the lock to safeguard your bike even better and I would suggest using either another D-Lock to protect the front wheel or one of Kryptonite's "Kryptoflex" cables in conjunction with this lock.

I have been using Kryptonite locks for YEARS. In particular I have been using my New York 3000 since they were released in the UK. When I take this lock with me I feel safe knowing when I come back my bike is still going to be there due to that Kryptonite is one of the best known lock manufacturers on the market. The product is well made and I have had no problems with the barrel jamming or the cover skin coming off like with some cheaper locks.
