The same key opens all the locks but if I needed to use them independently by different adults it would be useless. It's OK for us as it is the children who use them so I have the master key with me all the time.

Both my children enjoy cycling to and from school and the school have cycle/scooter bars to leave them there. Obviously it is advisable to lock the bikes to the bars to avoid any unnecessary exposure to thieves. Having two bikes that needed locking, sometimes at separate places, I was pleased when I saw the pack of 3 master locks in Homebase for the reasonable price of £11.99. They come in three colours, blue, red and green which is also great as it means the kids don't fight over them as each is allocated their own colour.
