Advantages: Easy to install

Disadvantages: Reliability - Just doesnt work and updates take forever

Purchased from Comet for 29.99 - Having installed this at Christmas on my laptop it has produced a mix bag of results. Whilst on the outside it does suggest that it is protecting your computer from the latest viruses, i've experienced a range of minor problems including being unable to access the login screen and having several errors including win32. My laptop does however seem to be fine at present and according to Microsoft OneCare i'm protected and have the latest editions to software. A couple of things do get slightly annoying how many times OneCare requests you create a backup disc and puts you at an amber status even though its fully updated.
To summarise I don't have complete faith in this product as according to the weekly and monthly reports from OneCare my system is fine and in good shape, but having experienced problems, OneCare fails to identify them and never seems to report anything.

At the time of writing this review my confidence in this product was low to moderate. But having received a series of viruses its now shot to pieces! The Status however said my PC was protected and in a good state. But the reality was I had 179 viruses which made my PC run that slow it took nearly 30-mins to an hour to login in the windows desktop!

Seriously my advice is dont bother with this software, get yourself AVG, Zone alarm or Avast anti virus security protection for free off the net.

It was bad enough how long it took to download the updates for OneCare but to find out that it doesn't work really took the biscuit.
