Advantages: Good interface and runs quietly in background

This is the standard yearly anti-virus/internet security update from Norton. The product is good value for money as it provides decent virus protection for a reasonable price and with the package you get the licence to use the product on three machines. This is therefore a cost effective way to protect all the computers in your house. The anti-virus software runs in the background whenever your computer is on and only needs the click of a button on occasion to tell it to start a scan or a clean up. The program does take up rather a lot of space and can slow down the computer when doing a full system scan, you will need to leave it for a while to complete this operation. Virus definitions are updated regulary and automatically or manually meaning your computer is never at risk to virus known to Symantec. This does not mean you are safe from virus', but I have never experienced a problem and think that this product is perfect for those looking for normal home use of the internet. it also comes with limited back-up storage space online with the option to buy more. THis gives you added security from potential threats.
