Norton Internet security is one of the best known computer security systems out there, but how good is it? I bought this software about 8 months ago now and have found that it is pretty good. What I like is that it is clear and simple to use. From the first day you get it and put the disc in to download it, it is easy to ... Read the complete review

This is the standard yearly anti-virus/internet security update from Norton. The product is good value for money as it provides decent virus protection for a reasonable price and with the package you get the licence to use the product on three machines. This is therefore a cost effective way to protect all the computers in your house. The ... Read the complete review

Well, it's April 2008, and you know what? Norton 360 still does the same thing. I have installed on 3 new Vista machines over the last 6 months - an HP Media PC, a Gateway Media PC (from clean install), and a Tosh laptop. Same thing with all of them - every now and then, Norton 360 has a total sense of humor failure and demands to be uninstalled. So be it. After enough times I decided not to bother with the reinstall. The PCs seem strangely faster and more stable since. By the way, during the time 360 was installed as far as I could tell the Backup routine was staggeringly slow and failed to actually back anything up. But don't bother finding that out for yourself - buy something else.

These days, it is a necessity to have Anti-Virus software installed on your PC... all because of hackers who get some sort of kick out of accessing people's personal data. An annoyance really, due to the cost, and also the sacrifice of losing processing speed, desperately needed when running those big apps. My form of protection is ... Read the complete review

Buy it cheap - I bought mine 16.10.07 internet deal with PC world £39.99 with a free shredder.
I'm no computer buff, but it installed fine and is working great - I just leave it to get on with the job.

I’m very happy with my old and slow notebook, so I don’t feel like buying a new one. The problem was, though, that most security programmes I tried on it affected the system performance quite negatively, so that I wasn’t able to work with it normally. A friend recommended Norton 360, because it provides an all-round protection without slowing down ... Read the complete review
