I have had Norton Internet Security 2007 for the past year and I am pleased to report that overall this software has been very good. I paid £24.99 for this from PC World, but the RRP is £49.99 which personally I think is a bit too much. However if you get it on offer, as I did, the price is OK. Installation was easy, although not the quickest ever, but nevertheless went without any issues. Once the product is installed you are prompted to run LiveUpdate to get the definitions and software updates. I've been using a combination of antivirus software and firewall for a long time. The latter was freeware, the former I paid for. It includes antivirus and firewall, antispyware and intrusion prevention, rootkit protection and so on. The good thing about a combo like this is also that the different features are working smoothly together and don't interfere with each other's settings.
