Advantages: Does what it says on the tube

Disadvantages: Way too expensive for what it is.... unfortunately

I have been using Decleor products for around 5 years after being introduced to them during a facial treatment while I was pregnant with my first child.

They are natural products that use essential oils as the base of all their treatments.

Decleor specialises in facial treatments but also they do a range of tanning products, self-tanning products, body treatments, hand and nails treatments as well as shower and bath gels.

They are what could be described as a mid-range product in price and performance.

****Aromessence Lip Balm***
100% natural product that is a complete, ultra-concentrated lip treatment with natural active ingredients. It soothes, repairs and nourishes the lips, whilst protecting them from external factors (cold, wind, sun). With its delicious flavours, it provides an instant sensation of comfort, heals chapped lips and helps prevent dehydration. Even the most damaged lips become soft, supple and perfectly smooth.

***Cost***
It is £17 for 10ml and this will probably last around 6 months using once or twice a day.

****How to use***
Before using this product it is recommended that you warm the pot or tube in your hand for otimal restitution of the balm. Otherwise, it will come out like thick wax. You only need a rice grain amount rubbed over the lips.

***Fragrance***
As with all Decleor products, light and fresh.

***Verdict***
Softens, smooths, protects and heals lips. I had this as part of a bonus pack when buying other products and I mainly use it at night before bedtime. Its a nice lipbalm that does what it says but for me I would not buy this product as it is FAR too expensive for what it is, especially when vaseline can do the same job for around £2 for the same amount. If it cost around £7-10 I would consider it.

Summary: Great as part of a bonus pack but wouldnt buy it!
